According to the charge sheet, Raj Kundra invested in the Arms Prime company, immediately got the ‘Hotshots’ app built and when the meaning went out, he resigned as director after seven months. Raj’s then-partner Saurabh Kushwaha was later told by the police that Raj had only used his technical knowledge to build the app. Raj created such a situation that the app had to be sold to Pradeep Bakshi. However, no payment was entered in the company’s bank account against this sale agreement.
The company formed for the app
It has been told in the charge sheet that on 5 February 2019, Raj along with Saurabh Kushwaha formed the company ‘Arms Prime’.
Raj had a 35% stake in this company, Saurabh had a 36% share. Raj was a director in this company when the Hotshots app was made in June 2019. Raj had already made this arrangement that the income of ‘Hotshots’ should be deposited in the company of brother-in-law Pradeep.
Raj was a director in this company for 9 months. On 26 November 2019 Raj mailed and told me that the company is not running according to me, so I want to leave the post of director, Raj asked for the full server of hotshots in return for his investment of 87 lakhs or asked to return the full amount.
Between 12 December 2019 and 6 January 2020, Raj and Saurabh Kushwaha kept talking about the aspects of leaving the company for a month.
Raj left the company, Pradeep got all the data
Raj claimed that he had Rs 87 lakh in the company. is investment. This amount should be returned to him or all the data including server data of the Hotshots app should be handed over to Pradeep Bakshi.
The ‘Hotshots’ app has been sold by Arms Prime to Pradeep Bakshi’s Canrin company for $25,000, a sale agreement has been made but the police have not found any entry of this account in Arms Prime’s bank account.
Raj’s partner said – I was used
The police have mentioned in the charge sheet the statement of Saurabh Kushwaha, Raj’s then-partner in Arms Prime Limited. Saurabh Kushwaha has been made a witness in this case.
Saurabh told the police how this company was formed and how Raj had made the app from them and Pradeep Bakshi was also involved in it from the beginning. Saurabh has told the police that Raj used his technical knowledge. Made a director, then got the app made and resigned from the company within a few months, but along with resigning, the ownership of all the data of the app was transferred to brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi’s company.
The police have concluded from the data and statements of all these economic transactions that the app was created under the supervision of Raj, all the content was uploaded on it, his revenue was transferred to the accounts of Pradeep’s company.
