New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that he is overwhelmed by the wishes of countless people on his birthday and has no words for it. He said that these wishes give him the strength to work harder. Thanking those who wished him on his 71st birthday, he said, “Our common journey continues. There’s still a lot to do. We will not rest until we realize our dream of a strong, prosperous, and inclusive India, the India for which our freedom fighters laid down their lives.

Responding to this, he said, ‘I express my gratitude from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has wished Happy Birthday. I enjoy every wish and it gives me the strength to work harder for the country. The Prime Minister also mentioned the service work done by the people and various organizations on the occasion of his birthday and saluted them for their splendid efforts. He also thanked the workers of Bharatiya Janata Party for running the service and dedication campaign on the occasion.

He said, “Physicians, innovators, administrators, nurses, health workers, and all frontline workers worked hard to make the vaccination campaign a success. To defeat Kovid-19, we have to speed up the vaccination campaign. PM Modi also expressed his gratitude to all the global leaders including Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Nepal’s Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who greeted him on his 71st birthday on Friday.
