Before Kriti Sanon became an actress, she entered modeling for some time. During an interview, she looked back on her modeling career and recalled her first ramp walk. Kriti said that she made a mistake in the choreography during the walk and had even heard a public reprimand for it. Kriti was an engineering student when she took a modeling assignment. Being tall, she thought she fit that criterion and decided to do it as time pass.

Kriti said, “When I did my first ramp show, I remember I messed up the choreography somewhere and because of this the choreographer got very angry with me. They lashed out at me in front of some 20 models at the end of the show. Shout and then I started crying. Whenever someone scolds me, I start crying like this.”

Kriti continued, “So, I remember I was sitting in an auto and as soon as I sat down, I started crying. I went back home and I started crying in front of my mother. Then my mother told me, ‘I Don’t know if this profession is for you or not. You need to be emotionally strong, you need to be a thick-skinned girl and you also need to be more confident than yourself.’ And I think confidence is something that I have gained over time.”
