Bigg Boss OTT host Karan Johar remembered and paid tribute to the late actor Siddharth Shukla during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Sunday i.e. 5th September. Siddharth, who won Bigg Boss 13, died on 2 September at the age of 40. Siddharth reportedly felt uneasy around 3 am and was later taken to the hospital in morning. In the show, Karan talked about Siddharth’s untimely demise and told that he is still very upset with this news. Karan called Siddharth a ‘favorite member’ of the Bigg Boss family. Along with this, Karan also shared a short clip of the video of Siddharth’s journey in Bigg Boss 13.

Karan said, “Siddharth Shukla, a face, a name that has become an integral part of all of our lives. A favorite member of the Bigg Boss family, who is not only me but a friend of countless people in our industry, suddenly we all left. He was a good friend and an amazing person to be with. His positive vibe and smile won millions of hearts.”

Karan further said that the love of the fans is proof of how ‘popular’ and ‘cute’ Siddharth was. “Rest in Peace, Siddharth Shukla, you will be missed forever,” Karan said that he and the audience need a lot of strength to keep the show going. “But if you think about it, I’m sure that’s what Sid wanted too because as we all know, the show must go on.”

Hearing the news of Siddharth Shukla’s untimely demise, his close friends and colleagues in the industry are also shocked. Sidharth was Shehnaaz Gill’s closest friend in Bigg Boss 13. Shahnaz had always openly expressed his love for her on the show. Although Siddharth always used to say that she is his best friend. The two were last seen together in reality shows ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ and ‘Dance Deewane’.
