India overtakes Italy to become sixth most affected by Kovid-19, cases exceeded 2.36 lakhs

New DelhiIndia has become the sixth country in the world worst affected by the global epidemic, Corona Virus, leaving Italy behind. The number of cases of Covid-19 has increased to 2,36,657 with 9,887 new patients appearing in the country in the last 24 hours. In India, 294 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours till 8 am on Saturday, after which the number of dead has increased to 6,642. US (America), according to data from the Johns Hopkins University, US, Brazil, Russia, Spain, and India in the list of countries most affected by the coronavirus since the UK is now ranked sixth.

48.20 patients also become healthy, the
Union Health Ministry said that the treatment of 1,15,942 infected patients is going on in the country while 1,14,072 people have become healthy and one patient has gone out of the country. A senior health ministry official said, “48.20 percent of the patients have recovered so far.” Foreign citizens are also involved in cases of infection. Since Friday morning, 294 people have died so far, out of which 139 have died in Maharashtra. 58 in Delhi, 35 in Gujarat, 12-12 in Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh, 11 in West Bengal, eight in Telangana, seven in Madhya Pradesh, five in Rajasthan, two in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Punjab, Jharkhand, and One patient died in Uttarakhand.

Highest Kovid-19 deaths In Maharashtra,
6,642 people have died due to this dangerous virus in the country so far. Of these, the maximum 2,849 deaths occurred in Maharashtra. After this, 1,190 people died in Gujarat, 708 in Delhi, 384 in Madhya Pradesh, 366 in West Bengal, 257 in Uttar Pradesh, 232 in Tamil Nadu, 218 in Rajasthan, 113 in Telangana and 73 in Andhra Pradesh. 57 patients have died due to infection in Karnataka and 48 in Punjab. 36 people have died in Jammu and Kashmir while 29 people have died in Bihar, 24 in Haryana, 14 in Kerala, 11 in Uttarakhand, eight in Odisha, and seven in Jharkhand. In Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh, five people died due to Kovid-19. Four people died in Assam and two in Chhattisgarh. One patient each died in Meghalaya and Ladakh. According to the data of the ministry, one death each occurred in Meghalaya and Ladakh.
