Hit and run in Chennai, video journalist was hit by a speeding BMW and fell 100 meters away, died in the accident

Chennai: A case of hit and run has come to light in Chennai. A Telugu channel’s video journalist died after being hit by a speeding BMW car. The collision was so severe that the video journalist was thrown into the air and fell 100 meters away. This accident happened on an elevated highway. The video journalist has been identified as Pradeep Kumar. He was a cameraperson in a Telugu news channel. Apart from this, he also worked as a part-time Rapido biker.

BMW driver absconding

According to the information, a speeding BMW car hit the bike of video journalist Pradeep Kumar on the Maduravoyal-Tambaram elevated bypass road. The collision was so severe that journalist Pradeep was thrown into the air and fell 100 meters away. After the accident, the driver of the BMW abandoned the car and fled from the spot. 

Pradeep fell from the elevated highway.

When people passing by saw the BMW car and the bike badly damaged in the accident, they informed the police. The police found the BMW car and the damaged bike at the spot but nothing else. When the police started searching around, the body of the video journalist was found below the elevated road 100 meters away from the accident site. He had died in the accident. According to the police, due to the collision, video journalist Pradeep Kumar fell from his elevated highway and died. The police are trying to find out the owner of the BMW car.
