Gautam Buddha Nagar: In the ATM booth robbery case, the outpost in-charge fell, the thieves took away 17 lakhs by cutting the machine

In Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has announced the population policy. Since then there has been an uproar over it. Some are supporting it and some are opposing it. Meanwhile, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has again surrounded the Yogi government (CM Yogi Adityanath) regarding this policy. Owaisi said that the Yogi government is going against the Centre.

On the proposal of the UP Population Control Bill, the AIMIM chief said that the Yogi government is going against the Centre. Asaduddin Owaisi said that in an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court in December 2020, the Modi government at the Center said that according to the Population Policy of 2000, the total fertility rate has come down from 3.2 percent to 2.2 percent in 2018. Due to this decline, the two-child policy cannot come in the country. On the other hand, the Yogi government is opposing it.

Owaisi cited Modi government’s affidavit

Owaisi said that in the affidavit filed in the Supreme Court, it was also said that according to international experience, low number of children causes demographic distortion. Citing which Asaduddin Owaisi said that if the Modi government is not ready to accept the policy of two children, then how is the Yogi government going against it? In fact, on July 11, CM Yogi Adityanath released the Uttar Pradesh Population Policy 2021-30 on the occasion of World Population Day.

The opposition called the murder of democracy

According to this bill, a provision is being made to deprive parents of more than two children from the right to contest local elections, apply for promotion in government jobs and get government subsidies. The previous population policy of the UP government has been completed in the year 2006. The new policy will help in controlling population. Provisions have also been made in the policy to encourage those who do population control. At the same time, the opposition has criticized the state government on this. The opposition says that democracy is being murdered in Uttar Pradesh.
