Agra: There is a big disclosure in the Uttar Pradesh basic teacher recruitment case. It has been revealed in the revelations that about 4 thousand teachers got government jobs on the basis of fake degrees. On the basis of the fake degree of B.Ed, 2004-05 of Agra University in Uttar Pradesh, teachers got jobs in basic. In July 2018, the then Additional Chief Secretary (Basic) Prabhat Kumar had asked the District Magistrates to make a committee headed by the ADM to investigate all the recruitments made in Basic after 2010.
The basic department gave notice of recovery
At the same time, more than 2.25 lakh posts were under scrutiny. The investigation of forgery was later given to the SIT. So far, 1701 teachers have been dismissed on the basis of the investigation. After this, the Basic Education Department started to tighten. The department has given notice of recovery to everyone who had taken the job with a fake degree. Whatever salary or other allowances the teachers have taken from the government, all of them are being recovered from the teachers.
This fraud started in 2004-2005
Let us tell you that this fraud started in the year 2004-2005. In the year 2013, student Sunil Kumar complained to the High Court. After which the High Court had ordered the case to be investigated by the SIT. SIT investigation revealed that in more than 100 colleges affiliated to the university, about ten thousand fake students were passed BEd without examination. Many of these also got government jobs. The SIT took records of all such students from the university and started an investigation.
