The 2-month ban imposed on Bollywood actress Gauhar Khan by FWICE has been lifted. However, the Federation has also warned Gauhar that if he is found guilty again in such cases, she will be banned again, which can be kept in force for a long time.
Significantly, against Gauhar, BMC had filed a case of violation of Covid-19 rules. In the FIR lodged at Mumbai’s Oshiwara police station, Gauhar was accused of roaming outside and shooting in violation of the rules despite being corona positive.
Web series’s makers requested
It was the makers of the web series who requested FWICE to allow Gauhar to resume work. FWICE President BN Tiwari and General Secretary Ashok Dubey have both confirmed the news of Gauhar being allowed to shoot.
Gauhar had done two corona tests
According to the information, Gauhar underwent a Kovid test in Mumbai on 11 March. After the test, she went straight to Delhi and got another test done there on 12 March. They were found corona positive in the Mumbai report, but the Delhi report was negative. The BMC had alleged that after the confirmation of the infection, the people of BMC also tried to give information to them by phone and message, but no response was received from the actress. In the message, the actress was asked to stay quarantined for 14 days.
The case was filed in these sections
BMC alleged that when their employees reached their flat, the door was found closed. Later it is revealed that the actress has gone out for the shoot. After this, BMC went to Oshiwara police station in Mumbai and registered a case against the actress in sections 188, 269, 270, and NDMA Act 51B of the IPC. In a tweet after registering the case, the BMC informed that an FIR has been lodged against Gauhar for violating the Corona Guidelines.
