Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday gave a big gift to Gorakhpur. CM Yogi laid the foundation stone of Sainik School Gorakhpur by offering prayers in the Fertilizer Factory premises. During this, Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma and many public representatives of Gorakhpur were also present. The opening of Sainik School in Gorakhpur was like a dream for the people of Purvanchal, in which Chief Minister Yogi filled the colors of reality.
A new Sainik School will be built on 50 acres. Sainik School
to be built in Gorakhpur will be built in 50 acres, which will cost 150 crores. This will be the fifth Sainik School in the state. Education to the youth, starting with the aim of protecting the country, education will be provided to the students from class 6 to 12 under the residential system in this school. There will be a separate campus for the students.
The administrative building of the Sainik School campus will be named after the soldiers of the army. It is the intention of Chief Minister Yogi that the atmosphere of the campus of Sainik School should be such that the spirit of patriotism continues to instill among the students. According to the instructions of the CM, the hostels to be built here will be dedicated to the names of the national heroes. Also, different places of the campus will be named after the brave soldiers of the army.
The entire campus will be equipped with CCTV, there will
be arrangements for horticulture, organic farming, and cowshed on the campus. Environmental protection will also be taken care of in the construction of Sainik School. Solar systems and rainwater harvesting will be arranged in all the buildings here. Apart from classrooms, hostels, a multipurpose hall, the auditorium will also be built. The entire campus will be covered with CCTV cameras to monitor security and discipline.
Sports will also be given importance
in the campus of Sainik School, the sports talent of the students will also be enhanced. The students here will get training for sports like football, volleyball, basketball, horse riding, shooting range, gymnastics, swimming, tennis, running, etc. There will also be tracks and courts related to them. Apart from all this, there will also be a gaushala of 50 cows on the campus.
What is Sainik School?
At present, 33 Sainik Schools are running across the country. They are operated by the Sainik Schools Society under the Ministry of Defense. At the same time, in UP, Sainik Schools are being run in Jhansi, Mainpuri, and Amethi districts. Apart from this, a Sainik School is proposed in Baghpat. Apart from this, a Sainik School is being run by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the capital Lucknow.

All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) is organized for admission in Sainik School. Which is organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Through this, students are given admission in class 06 and class 09 in Sainik School.
What is the age limit?
