A case was registered after this on Sunday. In the clip about which action has been taken against Digvijay, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has an old statement about alcohol.

Bhopal DIG Irshad Wali had tweeted – This matter is related to the editing of the old video of CM Shivraj and it was spread on social media to tarnish his image. We have taken this matter seriously. At present, an FIR has been registered under the Cyber Act and investigations are on.

However, CM was targeted on social media by tweeting on behalf of Digvijay on Sunday. It was written – Shivraj would have ruined us if we had not brought down the government. If you do bad deeds, how long will you be saved?

What is in the disputed video ?: Digvijay, who shared the controversial two minutes 19-second video clip linked to Shivraj, is said to be edited. BJP leaders have alleged in their complaint that the nine-second portion of the video was shared on Twitter, in order to tarnish the CM’s image. In this clip, CM was seen saying, “Spread the liquor so much that people drink and stay put.”
