Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has started a training camp from Tuesday to prepare for the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Captain Virat Kohli will join the camp on Thursday. At the same time, 11 players including Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, and Mohammad Siraj have started practice.
The training camp has been started under the supervision of the RCB franchise’s cricket operations director Mike Hewson and head coach Simon Katich.
Players returning home after the England series must remain in quarantine
Players who have come out of the bio-bubble after playing the England series have come into the team’s bio-bubble. They have started training. At the same time, the players including Kohli took a rest and went home. They will be required to stay in Quarantine for 7 days. Only then will they be able to join the training camp.

These 11 players joined the camp
Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Mohammad Siraj, Harshal Patel, Shahbaz Ahmed, Pawan Deshpande, Mohammad Azharuddin, Rajat Patidar, Sachin Baby, Suyesh Prabhudesai and KS Bharat.
IPL will start on 9 April
The 14th season of IPL is scheduled to begin on 9 April. The final will be played on 30 May. The first match is RCB to play against defending champions Mumbai Indians. Mumbai’s command is in the hands of Rohit Sharma.
This season, all 8 teams will play 60 matches including finals in 52 days. All the matches will be held in 6 cities Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. The final will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
