Railways have increased the platform ticket rates, due to which people will now have extra burden on their pockets. The ticket rate has been directly increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 50. Meaning, if you are going to leave the station or are going to receive someone, then you have to pay 50 rupees for this, now 50 rupees.
However, this is not a permanent increase. Due to Corona Pandemic, such an arrangement has been made till June 30. Closed platform ticket sales due to Corona epidemic are going to resume after about 11 months. Platform Ticket Sell was discontinued from 22 March in 2020 due to Corona epidemic. At the time, only those whose tickets were confirmed were allowed to enter the platform. But now once again the railway platform ticket sales are being started, that too with the increased rate.

With this, now passenger trains will also be started in a systematic manner on every route. In view of the festival of Holi, platform ticket selling will start again, in the festive season, a large number of people return to their homes, due to which there is a lot of crowd at railway stations. 7 railway platform tickets extended
Railway platform tickets can now be taken from cant and general ticket sales counters. The seven places where the platform ticket rate has been increased include Kanpur Central, Etawah, Aligarh, Prayagraj Junction, Tundla, Chhinwki, Mirzapur. According to Prayagraj Mandal PRO Amit Singh, seeing the rising corona congestion, the crowd at the station
