Actress-model Sangeeta Bijlani believes she has matured with age and that means she maintains relationships with people including ex-boyfriend Salman Khan. Sangeeta, who turned 61 on Friday, is still close to Salman’s family.
Speaking to Times of India, Sangeeta shared how she managed to keep in touch with the Radhe star for so many years. “Connections don’t break. Connections never go away. The love between your partner, school friends never diminishes. People will come and go. Nothing will be permanent in life. It doesn’t mean that you feel bitter or angry. At one point you grow,” said Sangeeta.
She further said that with age she has grown up. “There was a time in my life when I was childish and stupid, but now I have grown up. Life is full of experiences,” said Sangeeta.
After winning the Miss India title in 1980, Sangeeta made her Bollywood debut in 1988 with Katil. He did films like Tridev, Haathi and Jurm.
Sangeeta was in a relationship with Salman for a decade and the two were also planning to tie the knot. But it didn’t work out. Sangeeta later married former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. They got divorced in 2010.
