Batwara 1947 first look out! Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta and Karan team up for Aamir Khan backed film
Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : Batwara 1947: first look featuring Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta and Karan Deol have been launched and they appear in very intense avatars in the film. Produced by Aamir Khan, the movie, a historical drama, has become one of the most anticipated films of 2026. This film is Sunny and Karan Deol's next project together as the duo will now be seen in an intense historical drama backed by Aamir Khan. This film also happens to be Preity Zinta's comeback film after Bhaiaji Superhit that released in 2018. Batwara 1947 is scheduled to release on August 14, 2026. Emraan Hashmi's Awarapan 2 will clash with the historical drama at the box office.

Fans of the stars expressed happiness over the first look but had some reservations. However, one user also added, "The greatest combination of Aamir and Sunny hitting the screens... Couldn't ask for anything more", another one commented "Much awaited movie.. The film marks Sunny Deol, director Rajkumar Santoshi, and Aamir Khan's first collaboration and features the ensemble cast of Shabana Azmi, Preity Zinta, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal, Abhimanyu Singh, Khhushi Hajare, and Kanikka Kapur. AR Rahman has composed the music while Javed Akhtar has penned the lyrics.
