New Delhi: Bank Holidays June 2020: To prevent the infection of Coronavirus Epidemic , many states havedecided to extend the lockdown from June 1 to June 30. However, unlocked-1 has been implemented by the Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) government of the Center from today (June 1) till June 30 across the country. In the midst of all this, due to various holidays in June, work in banks will be closed for many days. These holidays also include Saturday and Sunday. Banks will be closed for a total of 11 days in June
According to the information given on the website of the Reserve Bank (RBI), in addition to Sundays, Second Saturdays and Fourth Saturdays in June, banks will remain closed for 11 days due to public holidays (May 2020) . Saga Dawa (Gangtok) on 5 June, YMA Day / Raja Sankranti (Aizawl, Bhubaneswar) on 15 June, Guru Hargobind Singh Jayanti on 18 June, Rath Yatra (Bhubaneshwar) on 23 June and Remna on 30 June On the occasion of Ni (Aizawl), operations in banks in the respective states will remain closed. Apart from this, banks will remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays on June 13 and 27. Also, banks will remain closed on Sunday, June 7, June 14, June 21 and June 28 due to the weekly holiday.
Banks will remain closed for so many days in July and August; On
July 5, 11, 12, 19, 25 and 26 July, there will be a holiday in banks due to Saturday (second and fourth Saturday) and Sunday. Apart from this, on July 31, the bank will be closed due to goat Eid. Banks will have a holiday on August 2, 8, 9, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30 August on Saturday (second and fourth Saturday) and Sunday. Apart from this, banks will have a holiday on 3 August on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. Local holiday on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami on 11 August, Sri Krishna Janmashtami government holiday on 12 August, Independence Day on 15 August, Teej (Haritalika) on 21 August will be a local holiday. On Ganesh Chaturthi on 22 August, there will be a local holiday in Banks. Apart from this, banks will remain closed due to Muharram on August 30 and Onam on August 31.
