Solar plant will prove to be a milestone in the development of the district: District Magistrate
Deoria, May 14 (H.S.). District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh and DIG/Superintendent of Police Dr.Sripati Mishra inspected the project of 40 MW solar power generation capacity in Bodia Anant Gram Panchayat on Saturday. The project is in its final stages of construction. Power generation will start from solar plant soon.
A 40 MW solar power plant is being constructed by M Plus Solar Energy Solutions in village Bodia Anant village of Baitalpur block. The construction work is in the final stage. The District Magistrate received information about the Solar Energy Plant. Amplus company representative Abhishek Yadav told the District Magistrate that at present the total energy demand in the district is about 45 MW and this plant will produce 40 MW of energy. The project, spread over 150 acres, has 1,09,424 solar modules. The power generated from this plant will be supplied to 220 kV Katari power substation. For this, 22 power towers have been installed between village to Katari power substation.
The District Magistrate termed this project as an important achievement for the district. He said that with the completion of this project, the power supply situation in the district would improve. Clean energy will be available without any pollution, which will be in line with sustainable development. Apart from electricity, people will also get employment, which will accelerate the economic development of the region. This project will prove to be a milestone in the development of the district. Company’s Vice President Alok Verma, Sanjay Chaudhary, Gaurav Mishra etc. were present on this occasion.
