Dinesh Karthik captioned the Instagram post – Dream Come To (Dreams come true) Proud to be a part of the Indian team for the T20 World Cup. We may not have won the tournament, but his memory will always make me happy. I would like to thank all my teammates, coaches, friends and fans who have always supported me.

Karthik’s career has been good for almost 2 decades

Dinesh Karthik made his debut for the Indian team in 2004. He was also a part of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup played in the year 2007. He has managed to make a comeback in the team over the last few years. He was first a part of the team in the 2019 World Cup in England and then got a chance in the T20 World Cup last year as well. Karthik is now the father of 2 sons and wants to spend time with his family, so it would not be surprising if he announces his retirement soon.
