Tulsidas Jayanti 2022: These things related to Sant Tulsidas, about which many people do not know

Goswami Tulsidas ( Tulsidas Jayanti) was born on the Saptami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. Tulsidas was a great saint and poet. Tulsidas Lord Ram (Shri Ram) ) was a great devotee. He composed all the texts including the Hindu epic Ramcharitmanas, Hanuman Chalisa and spent his entire life in devotion and meditation. On the birth anniversary of Tulsidas, people sing hymns of Goswami Tulsidasji, recite his poems and scriptures and remember him. On the auspicious occasion of Tulsidas Jayanti, we tell you such things related to his life that people are still unaware of.

There are different opinions regarding the date of birth of Tulsidasji. But a miracle of his birth time is quite prevalent. It is said that when Tulsidas was born, he did not cry, but took the name of Rama. Hence his name is Rambola. Before becoming Tulsidas, he lived like a normal person.

It is said that when Rambola was married, he loved his wife very much. One day, fed up with his carelessness, his wife said bitter things to Rambola and said that life would have been better if I had loved Ram so much instead of loving my body. Hearing the words of his wife, Rambola became agitated and set out in search of Rama. After this he devoted his whole life to Ramji and became Tulsidas from Rambola.

It is said that he was ordered by Lord Shiva to write poetry in his dream. After this he composed Ramcharitmanas. It took two years, seven months and twenty-six days to write it. After completing this epic, he took it to Kashi and recited Shri Ramcharitmanas to Lord Vishwanath and Mata Annapurna. After reciting it, he kept the book in the Kashi Vishwanath temple at night. When the doors of the temple were opened in the morning, Satyam Shivam Sundaram was found written on the book.

Tulsidas mentions in Ramcharitmanas that his guru used to narrate Ramayana to him, from which he got to know more about Lord Shri Ram and he composed Shri Ramcharitmanas. Along with Ramcharitmanas, he also composed 12 other compositions like Kavitavali, Jankimangal, Vinayapatrika, Geetavali, Hanuman Chalisa, Barvai Ramayana etc., but Ramcharitmanas immortalized him forever.

Tulsidas is said to have had direct visions of Lord Hanuman, Lord Rama-Lakshman and Shiva-Parvati. During his travels, Tulsidas found a ghost on a tree in Kashi, which told him the address of Hanumanji. After having darshan of Hanumanji, he had darshan of Shri Ram and Lakshmana. It is also popular that Hanumanji, a devotee of Ram, helped him to write Ramcharitmanas.
