Delhi Traffic Police: The Delhi Traffic Police on Wednesday fined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Manoj Tiwari for not wearing a helmet during the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ bike rally in Delhi’s Red Fort area. Delhi Traffic Police has given this information.
Tiwari tweeted that after this he would pay the fine. He wrote in a tweet, ‘Heartfelt regret for not wearing a helmet today. I will pay the fine. All of you are requested not to ride bike without wearing helmet.
A senior police officer said Manoj Tiwari was issued a challan for not wearing a helmet, riding a bike without a license and PUC registration certificate. He said that the owner of the two-wheeler has also been fined.
BJP Delhi took out tricolor bike rally
