Earlier yesterday also a team of Islamabad Police had reached Lahore by helicopter, but then Imran was not found there. Later the news came that Imran had gone somewhere in a bullet proof car. However, following the instructions of the Islamabad court, the policemen and commandos again left for Lahore today (March 14).

There was an uproar over Imran’s arrest

Meanwhile, Imran Khan once again appealed to the supporters to unite. Imran Khan wrote on social media, ‘Listen Pakistanis… Your leader’s life is in danger.’ We have to unite.” The Twitter handle of Imran-led political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that everyone should reach Khan Sahab’s Zaman Park residence in Lahore at the earliest.

Several policemen were injured in stone pelting

According to the Pakistani newspaper “Dawn News”, Imran’s supporters were recently attacked by the police. Stone pelting is happening on the spot. Some police personnel have been injured in the stone-pelting and have been taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, a senior police officer of Islamabad Police told reporters that they have come to arrest Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case.

Along with this, the Lahore Police said in its statement, ‘Today we have come to arrest Imran and will take him away. Those who are pelting stones have been given a final warning.

At the same time, Imran’s ally and former Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mehmood Qureshi said, “The police should take their steps back. If the situation worsens then the police and the government will be responsible. The public supports us.” He said that people would not want their leader to get any scratch.

PTI leader said – High Court has canceled the arrest warrant

Senior PTI leader Farooq Habib said that come what may, Imran Khan will not surrender to the police in fake cases. Habib said, ‘Islamabad High Court today stayed the arrest warrant in the case of threatening a woman judge. Let’s see what new warrant the police come up with now.”
