In a study conducted to know the benefits of yoga, experts found that the habit of doing yoga can be beneficial for your physical and mental health. According to Roerin Chanavirut, a lead researcher at Khonken University in Thailand, research has shown that a few days of yoga can increase a patient’s chest flexibility (ability to pull) and work capacity.

Professor Roerin says that some types of yoga not only increase lung strength, but their regular practice can improve breathing capacity.
