If you want to avoid serious diseases, do not ignore the health of the mouth
Based on data from 4.69 lakh people, researchers from Queen’s University in the UK found that there is a direct link between the health of the mouth, including liver, intestine, and pancreas, and colon cancer. Especially if there are ulcers in the mouth, bleeding gums or loose teeth, then it should be treated seriously. Even if there is no problem with teeth or mouth, brushing should be done regularly after waking up in the morning and before sleeping at night.
Most people brush lightly. But brushing should be done calmly so that the mouth including teeth and tongue is completely clean. Not only cancer, if the health of the mouth is poor, then there is also a risk of heart disease, diabetes. For their research, the researchers examined people’s health reports for six months. 13 percent of those with poor oral health developed cancer.
Some problems were observed especially in the mouths of women, youth and people with poor economic status as well as people who ate less fruits and vegetables. Researchers say that the liver destroys bacteria in the body. But when the liver itself becomes infected, the bacteria dominate the body. If the mouth is not cleaned properly, the bacteria that grow there weaken the organs, including the liver.
