Madhya Pradesh. A case of breaking of Shivling has come to light in a temple in Bhopal. The incident took place at a Shiva temple in Dharam Kanta area in Chola. There is a lot of outrage among the people after this incident. A case has been registered against a person on the basis of CCTV footage. As the news of the breaking of the Shivling spread, a huge crowd of local people gathered. Police and administration officials are present on the spot. And trying to pacify the people.

According to an eyewitness, when he was going for a walk in the morning, the idol of Shiva temple was found broken. When he went near and saw, the idol of Lord Shiva was lying broken and a stone was lying beside it. Hearing this news, a huge crowd gathered there. And there is a lot of resentment among the people. He said that the police administration has asked us for a time of 5 pm and said that we will arrest the accused. But if the accused are not arrested then we will agitate, block the road and demand action against the culprits.

According to a police officer, the accused has been identified with the help of CCTV footage and will be arrested soon. Additional commissioner of police (ACP) Ram Snehi Mishra said a part of the ‘Jalhari’ (base of the Shivling) at the Shiv temple on Chola Road was damaged on Tuesday night, probably by a drunk man.
