The help of Forbes’ Live Billionaire Tracker has also been taken in making this list. According to the City Index, India ranks joint fifth with Australia and Hong Kong in the list of women billionaires. 4 of the 5 richest women in the world are from America. L’Oreal owner Françoise Bettencourt Meyers is the richest woman in the world with a net worth of $81.49 billion. Walmart’s Alice Walton is at number two with a net worth of $60.16 billion.
There are a total of 92 women billionaires in America. China ranks second in this list. The number of billionaires in China is half that of America i.e. 46. Germany is at the third place in this list. A total of 32 female billionaires live in Germany. Italy comes next after Germany. Italy ranks fourth in the City Index with 16 women billionaires. There are 9 women billionaires in India. The same number is in Australia and Hong Kong. Thus this number comes fifth out of three in this list.
According to the Forbes Rich List 2022, OP Jindal Group Chairperson Savitri Jindal is the richest woman in India. His total assets are 16.96 billion dollars (about 14 thousand crore rupees). Savitri Jindal is a successful business woman as well as active in politics.
