‘Zomato’ will now be rebranded, the company may announce soon
Online food delivery platform Zomato has reduced its losses in the first quarter of 2022. Now the company is working on a plan to change many things including its leadership structure. According to the information, Zomato’s management may soon make the parent company. The company now plans to have a separate CEO to run each of its businesses. Currently, Zomato has a total of four brands. Hence the management is planning to operate all these as parent company.

According to a media report, Zomato founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal said that he is working on a plan to create a company where every business will have a CEO. Everyone will work together. Deepinder Goyal may re-brand the parent company to Eternal. However, no official statement has been issued by the company on this issue yet.

Now Zomato founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal wants to bring all these companies under one parent company and wants to run them. The CEO of the Gurugram-based startup said that Eternal will remain an internal name for now. The name of Zomato will not change. According to the information, the company has started using this name inside its company office. Soon it will all be exposed.
Zomato suffered less damage
Zomato’s consolidated loss stands at Rs 185.7 crore for the April-June 2022 quarter. During the first quarter of last year, this figure was Rs 356.2 crore. Zomato reported a loss of Rs 359.7 crore in the quarter till June 2022. 67.44 percent profit has been registered in the revenue of the company. Zomato’s revenue in the first quarter last year was Rs 844.4 crore.
Zomato shares fall
However, this year the stock of Zomato has fallen drastically. Shares of Zomato have fallen by more than 67 per cent this year. At the beginning of the year on January 3, 2022, Zomato’s shares were at Rs 141.35. It closed at Rs 46.50 on 1 August 2022.
