Mumbai: The first big reaction has come from BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, who is heading towards a landslide victory in the Maharashtra assembly elections. Expressing his happiness on the social media platform X, Fadnavis wrote, ‘Ek hain toh ‘safe’ hain! Modi hai toh mumkin hai!’ Let us tell you that in the trends that have come out so far, the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance is leading in 221 out of 288 seats, while the Congress-led Maha Vikas Aghadi i.e. MVA seems to be shrinking to 56 seats. Let us tell you that during its election campaign in Maharashtra, the BJP had given slogans like ‘If divided, we will be cut off’ and ‘Ek hain toh safe hain’.
The enthusiasm of BJP workers will increase.
Let us tell you that in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP and its allies performed very poorly in Maharashtra. In such a situation, these results will increase the enthusiasm of the party workers. BJP had won a total of 240 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. The politically important western state of Maharashtra sent 48 MPs to the Lok Sabha and made the MVA victorious on a decisive 30 seats in the parliamentary elections, but this time it decided to change its stance. BJP is leading on 125 seats on its own in the assembly elections.
Raut said, ‘A big conspiracy is visible’
Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday alleged that there is a ‘big conspiracy’ and ‘something seems fishy’ in the results of the Maharashtra assembly elections. Raut said that the election results do not reflect the mandate of the people as the situation on the ground was very different and there was clear anger against the government. He said, ‘I see a big conspiracy in this. This is not the mandate of Marathi ‘manush’ and farmers.’
‘We do not consider this a mandate of the people’
Sanjay Raut questioned the victory of the Mahayuti and said, ‘We do not consider it the mandate of the people. There is something wrong with the election results.’ He said that there is no doubt that money was used in the elections. Raut asked, ‘How can all the MLAs of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde win? How can Ajit Pawar, whose betrayal has angered Maharashtra, win?’
