Jhansi: A short distance from the CO office in Mauranipur Kotwali area of the district, the miscreants fled after removing a bag full of money from the bike of a youth who had come for registration from the tehsil premises. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
Golan Das, son of Brijesh Bharti, a resident of Mau Dehat, while giving a written statement to the Kotwali Police, said that today he sold three of his plots to a resident of Mathupura and Mau Dehat villages, whose registry was written and read for Rs 8 lakh. 55 thousand in cash and Rs. 1 lakh 30 thousand. He kept this money in a check bag and gave it to his son Anurag and told him to go home and keep it. According to Brijesh, his son started riding home with a bag full of money hanging on the bike, when two youths dressed in cream color came from the bike and told Anurag that his glasses had fallen, immediately Anurag started. The youth on the bike picked them up and ran away with the bag. This incident which happened day in and day out created chaos in the court. Even after a long search, the miscreants were not found. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigation. CO Sneha Tiwari reached Kotwali and gave necessary guidelines to trace the miscreants.
