Prayagraj: The Allahabad High Court has summoned the candidate’s OMR sheet while giving the verdict on a petition filed on the omission of marks in the OMR sheet. A petition was filed in the High Court by a candidate of 69000 Assistant Teacher Recruitment in primary schools of UP. The court has ordered summoning of the OMR sheet on the condition of depositing Rs 5 thousand. In its order, the High Court also said that if the difference is not found in the investigation of the OMR sheet, then this amount will be deposited as compensation.
The selection was not done due to a single-digit error, in
fact, the petition said that the candidate wanted 90 marks in the written examination but he was given 89 marks. Due to the lack of a number, he could not do it. The court accepted the plea of the petitioner with the condition that he would have to submit a bank draft of Rs 5000 in favor of the general. If the mistake is not found in the OMR seat, then this amount will be confiscated as compensation.
Lucknow Bench of the High Court has stopped the recruitment process.
Earlier, while hearing the answer sheet case, the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court has stopped the entire recruitment process to advance orders. The High Court has directed that the candidates should present objections to the disputed questions to the state government within a week. The government will forward the objections to the UGC and the UGC will resolve the objections. Now the next hearing of this case will be held on July 12.
