The controversy swirling around the NEET exam has taken a dark and troubling turn in Patna, following the death of a 19-year-old aspirant named Ayush. Now, newly elected Purnia MP Pappu Yadav has entered the fray with a bombshell allegation: he claims Ayush's death was not a suicide or an accident, but a "cold-blooded murder," and hints at the involvement of a powerful political figure's son.

Ayush, who was from Nalanda and was studying for the competitive exam in Patna, was found dead in a drain. While the circumstances are under investigation, Yadav stated firmly that after visiting the grieving family, he is convinced there is foul play.

"I spoke with the family, and they are completely broken," Yadav said. "They told me Ayush was a bright and studious boy. There is no reason for him to take his own life. The family believes, and I believe, that he has been murdered."

Taking his allegations a step further, Yadav made a stunning claim that directly implicates a high-profile individual. "The son of a minister or a big leader is involved in this," he declared, calling for an immediate and impartial investigation to uncover the truth. He alleged that Ayush's friend, Ankit, who also stayed at the same hostel, might hold key information.

The MP’s statement connects this tragic incident directly to the larger "NEET scam" that has rocked the country. He portrayed Ayush as another victim of the corrupt "mafia" that he alleges is controlling the examination system.

Pappu Yadav has demanded that the Bihar government take this matter with the utmost seriousness. He has called for a high-level probe, suggesting that the investigation be handed over either to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or to a retired judge from the High Court to ensure that there is no political influence.

As students across the country continue to protest the alleged irregularities in the NEET exam, these shocking allegations from a prominent politician add a grim and dangerous new dimension to the scandal, putting immense pressure on Patna police and the Bihar government to deliver answers.
